1. What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
To date my biggest professional achievement would be going to university and gaining my BA Hons in Graphic Communication.
2. What 3 words would you use to describe your role?
I’d probably use: Challenging. Minimal. Creative. The role can be Challenging, I love Minimal design and overall it is Creative.
3. What is your guilty pleasure?
I love watching Benidorm! I’ll watch it from start to finish at least once a month. Noreen Maltby is my favourite character, we need more Noreen’s in this world. 🤣
4. What was your first job?
Before I started at Iced Digital I worked as a gardener alongside studying my BA Hons. It was a job I enjoyed and it wasn’t too dissimilar to graphic design in the sense that you have to leave your client happy having made sure you’ve done a great job, they’ll go elsewhere otherwise! The brews and biscuits weren’t bad either, probably where my want and need for coffee came from!
5. What has been your favourite project at Iced?
There’s been a few, but most recently I enjoyed working on a project for Kingdom Keys, I met with local business owner Jonny Nelson who outlined his needs for his business and left me in charge. First I designed him a new logo (www.icedgraphics.com/portfolio-item/kingdom-keys) then printed materials such as business cards and NCR invoices before designing him a new website which I designed, had signed off by Jonny and built/tested in WordPress then set live.
6. Which MR. MEN are you and why?
As you can see, I’m MR. DRINKS TOO MUCH COFFEE, I enjoy trying new coffee, and rarely ever turn a brew down and given it’s International Coffee Day, it’s quite apt.
